Project Overview

The Challenge

Vivi Waters' sales teams were burdened with the manual process of creating sales orders in their SAP system. Orders received through various channels, such as WhatsApp, websites, and social media platforms, had to be manually converted into a structured format before being entered into SAP. This labor-intensive process not only consumed significant time and resources but was also prone to errors and inconsistencies.

Furthermore, the lack of real-time order processing led to delays in fulfillment, resulting in potential customer dissatisfaction and lost sales opportunities. The manual nature of the process also made it challenging to scale operations effectively, limiting the company's ability to keep pace with growing demand.

Solution Description

To address these challenges, we developed a comprehensive automated solution that streamlined the entire sales order management process. At the core of our solution was the integration of Vivi Waters' existing SAP system with a custom-built backend that could capture sales orders from various channels, including WhatsApp.

The solution leveraged the Twilio API to seamlessly integrate with WhatsApp, allowing customers to place orders directly through the messaging platform. Once an order was confirmed, our system automatically processed the data, performed necessary validations, and created the corresponding sales order directly in SAP, eliminating the need for manual data entry.

By automating the order creation process and integrating it with SAP, our solution significantly reduced the time and resources required for order management. This not only improved overall sales efficiency but also minimized the risk of failed orders due to human error or delays in processing.

Moreover, the streamlined process enabled Vivi Waters to provide a seamless and convenient ordering experience for their customers.
